It's happening!
Apple just sent out invites for a special event in Apple Park,Watch Daddy Issues xxx movie 5 (2016) Cupertino, California, to be held at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) on Sept. 12.
As is customary, the actual invite doesn't say too much, but it's very safe to assume that the company will be launching new iPhones and a new version of at least one Apple Watch at the event.
The event's motto this year is "Wonderlust," a play on the word wanderlust, meaning a strong desire to travel.
A quick rundown of what we expect to see this year: Apple is likely to launch the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, as well as iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The biggest rumored update for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus is the inclusion of the Dynamic Island, previously reserved for the Pro models. The iPhone 15 Pro models are rumored to come with a new, titanium case, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max model will likely have a very powerful new telephoto camera. All of the iPhones will have a USB-C charging port, a first for Apple phones.
We will also very probably see Apple Watch Series 9, and possibly a new version of Apple Watch Ultra.
Mashable will be there to cover the event in person, so stay tuned for detailed coverage. Here's everything Apple announced at last year's event to give you an idea.
