Elon Musk says that Twitter will only display the tweets of verified users on Street Stall (2015)its For You page, starting April 15.
This decision comes after the company announced it would be "winding down" its legacy verified program and removing legacy checkmarks by April 1. The now-controversial blue checkmark will only be available to Twitter Blue subscribers paying $8 per month.

In another arbitrary ruling, Musk said that only verified accounts can vote in polls.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
These are the latest Twitter features previously available free to all users which have been restricted to Twitter Blue subscribers only. Musk describes both these decisions as "the only realistic way to address advanced AI bot swarms taking over."
Since the beginning of Musk's CEO reign, Twitter has seen waves of changes, updates, and bugs. The upcoming removal of legacy checkmarks and its impact is yet to be seen, but has the potential to upend credibility and exacerbate misinformation.
