LONDON -- Following one of the hottest days of the years in recorded history,Ongoing Archives greater Manchester, UK experienced a storm of apocalyptic proportions.

Torrential rainfall and a series of violent lightning strikes threw the region into chaos as roads, homes, and local businesses were hit by power outages and flooding.
