The sanctuary posted a touching tribute to Ghost, part of their Westeros Pack of 10 rescued wolf-dogs named for direwolves and other characters from the fantasy series. Martin and his wife helped name the pack and raised money for the rescue center.
The sanctuary said Ghost died peacefully at home. In the HBO series the fictional Ghost is still alive and well, as far as we know. The new season returns on July 16, so we'll know more soon.
