LONDON -- 2016 saw some pretty unusual men's grooming trends. There was anti-grooming,naomi wolf eroticization of consent which involved fake sweat and dishevelled bed hair. Then, there was Jon Snow-inspired hair perms and even the English rose look.

Models at London Fashion Week's TOPMAN show were sporting a decidedly odd aesthetic: fake dirt. According to a statement emailed to Mashable, this runway grooming look is inspired by the British "pubbing and clubbing scene" of the 1990s.
TOPMAN says the look consists of dirty and greasy hair and oily skin, designed to give one the look of having worked all day and clubbed all night.
