But a new feature called Fast Laughs might prompt you to fire the app up just to have a little bit of fun.
Announced on Wednesday, Fast Laughs offers a feed of funny, short clips taken from TV shows, movies, and stand-up comedy.
Yes, it's a bit like TikTok, only with professional-grade content. Of course, the choice won't be as large as what TikTok offers — Netflix mentions the Murder Mysterymovie, Big Mouthand The CrewTV shows, and stand-ups from Kevin Hart and Ali Wong.
The feed is accessed in the bottom navigation menu through the Fast Laughs tab. As is typical of Netflix, which hardly lets you breathe while navigating regular content, the clips will automatically start playing when you switch to the Fast Laughs tab, and they'll keep on going.

You can also share individual clips on social networks including Whatsapp, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
The new feature is available on iPhone in "select countries," Netflix said. The company says it will start testing Fast Laughs on Android "soon."
