Starting Monday -- and [Ep4] Secret Campusprobably ending Monday, as well -- Best Buy will give NES Classic hunters another shot at obtaining Nintendo's diminutive, discontinued micro-console.
The retailer shared the news in a Sunday tweet that offered more hype than actual detail. We don't know which stores will have stock, how much they'll have, or how they'll be made available.

Expect availability to vary from store to store. Depending on where you live, it might be worth the time to call your local Best Buy.
Nintendo released the NES Classic back in Nov. 2016, packing 30 classic games into a miniaturized version of the company's first gaming console. With a $60 price, the Classic offered an appealing package for holiday gift buyers. Unfortunately, it proved to be a little toopopular.
There were no pre-orders for those wishing to commit, meaning if you wanted one you had to grab it post-release. Stores sold out their supplies of the tiny console in minutes, and limited availability left it in a perpetual state of "sold out" through the holidays and beyond.
Despite evidence of high demand and repeated promises from Nintendo to meet that demand, the company reversed course in mid-April with an announcement that NES Classic had been discontinued. No reason was given for the change.
Best Buy's surprise offering, then, represents what is likely one of your last opportunities to purchase the NES Classic at its suggested retail price. Expect lots of competition. so be sure to show up early -- and stay civil! -- if you're setting out to score one.
