A floating cloud filled with music is Singaporethe stuff of sci-fi dreams.
Richard Clarkson Studio and Crealev are the creators behind the Floating Cloud, a levitating speaker designed with sound-reactive LED lights.
The cloud is made from hypoallergenic felt and features a bluetooth speaker and magnets that allow it to float one to two inches over a rechargeable oval base.
Clarkson originally built the cloud as a lighting fixture. For the newest model, he worked with Crealev to design a way for the cloud to levitate.
Part electronic, part art piece, the Floating Cloud lights up to the beat of your favorite tunes. Though it is not currently available for purchase, the project's web page says that Clarkson and Crealev hope to sell it soon.
