Since reboots are dw erotice moviethe pop culture trend du jour, this one was probably inevitable: The CW is developing a new take on The WB's beloved supernatural drama Charmed, Mashablehas confirmed.
But before you light your torches and go on a witch hunt to defend the honor of the Halliwell sisters, there are a few things you should know:
1) The new iteration of Charmedis described as a "reimagining," not a reboot, and will be set in 1976 if it gets picked up to series. There's no word yet on whether it will center around the Halliwell family or another group of spellcasters.
2) The deal is only for a script-- the show hasn't been given a pilot order for filming yet -- which means that the project may not ever see the light of day; it all depends on what the network thinks of the script when it comes in.
