Ugg boots are contact uspretty good for fetching Starbucks in. To hell with their bad rap for being a staple of the "basic girl" wardrobe. They're cosy and warm, and you can bet snakes think so too.
Like this guy -- an eastern brown snake, who huddled itself into the wool-lined footwear belonging to a woman in the Australian city of Adelaide.

Apparently the snake had disappeared into the iconically ugly Aussie shoe on a particularly chilly day, after encountering the shoe's owner.
"It saw her and shot into her Ugg boot," said Snake Catchers Adelaide manager Rolly Burrell. "We picked up the shoe, tipped it out and dropped it into the bag. It was pretty easy to do."
Oh and by the way, the eastern brown snake's venom is actually highly deadly.
It happens to be the leading cause of snakebite deaths in Australia, according to the Toxinology Department at the Women's and Children's Hospital in Adelaide.
Might want to double check those comfy AF boots while you're Down Under.
