“I had been making real succulent jewellery and wanted to use the same application on something I had never seen baby succulents used on before,” Borg told The Huffington Post.
The artist arranges the colorful plants to creating a bouquet effect on the nail.

To achieve the look, Borg glues baby succulents onto a false nail using Oasis floral adhesive. Once dry, the artist attaches the decorated nail onto her own with nail glue and, voila,Instagram perfection.

Luckily, the plants don't go to waste. When the nail starts to "chip," the succulents can safely be planted, the artist affirms. “The Oasis glue eventually releases and I can plant the baby succulents and they can grow happily," she said, "It’s definitely a temporary green thumb.”
Only time will tell how long this Insta-trend will last, but in the meantime ... BRB, looking for succulents.
