In the official trailer,Watch Ozark Season 1 Online released Wednesday morning, they're nowhere to be seen.
SEE ALSO: George R.R. Martin says Trump is like a King Joffrey that never grew upWhen Game of Thronespremiered in 2011, we met the White Walkers within several minutes of Episode 1. We've seen more of this murderous band of the undead from North of the Wall with each passing season.
The White Walkers have been integral to marketing Season 7 up until this point. The first teaser in March ended with a spiral pattern of dead bodies and zoomed out to reveal a White Walker's eye. Later that month, fans critically analyzed images in the Walker's eye. Just a day before the official trailer dropped, we got a 13-second teaser of the Night's King leering.
Of course, the absence of our frozen zombie friends doesn't mean they won't be an omnipresent threat in Season 7. They're moving south, stronger than ever (they may even have a Hodor), and they don't give two shits about the Iron Throne.
As Westeros wars for a crown, the war that decides everyone's fate is the Great War that Jon Snow refers to -- the war between the living and the dead.
