Wakanda Foreverwill have an adventure narrative, Okorafor told Vogue, and the first issue with Spider-Man will see the crew heading to New York to "investigate a threat to national security."
"This moment has been coming for a long time,” said Okorafor, speaking about the Dora Milaje taking center stage. “People have craved these types of characters for a while, and I don’t think that craving is going to pass; it’s something that is here to stay.”
The first issue will come out in June, followed by X-Men: Wakanda Foreverin July and Avengers: Wakanda Foreverin August. Hopefully more issues or a standalone series will follow.
