If there's one thing the current administration likes to do,Watch Unique Lady 2 Online it's weigh in on Saturday Night Live.
After Melissa McCarthy's surprise appearance as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in the show's Feb. 4 episode, Spicer had some thoughts.
In an interview with Extra, Sean Spicer confirmed that he had seen McCarthy's impression and it was a little over-the-top for his taste.
Spicer told Extra that McCarthy "needs to slow down on the gum chewing; way too many pieces in there." He also found the show "funny" (we imagine him using air quotes), but said that McCarthy, who is known for her exaggeration and physical comedy, "could dial back" a bit.
That's effusive praise compared to Spicer's opinion of Alec Baldwin, who has been impersonating Trump on SNLsince the election.
"Alec has gone from funny to mean, and that's unfortunate," Spicer said in Extra. "SNLused to be really funny. There's a streak of meanness now that they've crossed over to mean."
That's quite the hot take, but we're willing to bet the impressions won't stop. Period.
