At GDC today, Epic Games announced that it's partnering with Humble Bundle to let developers sell their Epic Games Store titles—including exclusives—on the Humble Store.
"Our goal is not to build another walled garden," Epic Games Store Head Steve Allison said on stage.
Humble Bundle Co-Founder John Graham said the collaboration "means more options for gamers, more sales for game developers … and more money for good causes."
There's no word yet as to when the partnership will launch.
To date, Humble Bundle has raised more than $145 million for charity, Graham said. With Epic Games Store titles in the mix, that number is sure to grow.
Meanwhile, Epic also today announced a number of new titles coming to the Store, including third-person open world survival game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, interactive drama Beyond: Two Souls, first-person shooter The Cycle, interactive crime drama Heavy Rain, strategy game Industries of Titan, 3D puzzler Kine, and single-player sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds.
Epic launched the Store in December 2018, offering developers an 88 percent cut of earnings rather than the 70 percent Steam offers. To entice gamers, Epic is offering a free game every two weeks throughout 2019.
The current free game, Slime Rancher, has attracted more than 4.5 million downloads, Allison said. You can pick up Slime Rancer until tomorrow at 10:59 a.m. ET. After that, the next free title will be Oxenfree.
