Fortnite: Battle Royaleintroduced a brand new game mode Wednesday morning called Playground that allows players to master the art of Fortnitewithout the stress of the actual battle.
In Fortnite's Playground Mode,Mission XXX Impossible players can drop onto the island by themselves or with a small group of friends and basically have free reign to do whatever they want for a full hour. For people who are new to the game or haven't gotten all the tricks down yet, it's a great way to practice building structures without of fear of getting killed and needing to start over.

To make it easier for players to practice their strategies, Playground Mode gives players tons of extra resources when they break down things like trees and stones, meaning you don't need to farm nearly as many resources as you do in a normal game to build some impressive structures.
If you already know the ins and outs of Fortniteor just don't really care to figure them out, Playgorund is also a fun mode to mess around in with friends, like doing a low-stakes deathmatch or just building big structures and messing around with shopping carts.
In addition to Playground Mode, the latest Fortnite: Battle Royaleupdate improves the game's map markers.
Map markers previously only showed up on players' maps and minimaps, which was fine, but now they show up on the actual environment so you can more easily meet up with teammates and better visualize where you're going.
Fortnitealso added dual pistols, a classic option in many shooting games that make you feel like a badass.
