Disney+ and Watch The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift OnlineHulu will soon be available in a single app in the US, with a beta scheduled to launch in December. The new Disney+/Hulu app was announced during Disney's fourth quarter earnings call on Wednesday.
"We remain on track to roll out a more unified one-app experience domestically, making extensive general entertainment content available to bundle subscribers via Disney+," said CEO Bob Iger.
The Brundlefly app beta test will be available to US users who are subscribed to a Disney Bundleplan. These bundles start at $9.99 per month for the Duo Basic plan, which includes both Disney+ and Hulu with ads. The app will then officially launch in early spring next year.
Last week Disney announced that it would purchase Comcast's remaining 33 percent stake in Hulu for approximately $8.61 billion, taking full control of the streaming service.
