It's super expensive to feel like a kid again.
Disney vacations aren't exactly cheap,Three Female Ghosts but this weekend they got a bit more expensive as Disney raised the prices of tickets for their Disneyland park in California and Walt Disney World in Florida.
For a family of four, on a peak day, one day will cost you over $500.
Single-day, single-park admission on peak days in Florida has gone up to $129, kids between the ages of 3 and 9 are now $123.

Park-hopper tickets, which allow the holder to visit more than one park in a day, have gone up by $10, from $184 for adults and $178 for kids.
In California, peak day admission has gone up $11, with adult tickets at $135 and child tickets at $128. As with Florida, the price depends on the day, but admission has gone up all around.
Families who are planning Disney vacations in the near future might want to forgo a souvenir cup or two to cover the price change—it might not seem like a lot in comparison to the actual ticket price, but with a family of four, it quickly adds up.
Per HuffPost, these price changes come after Disney announced that it beat quarterly profit expectations, due in part to increased park attendance. Disney has raised prices at least once a year since, well, since it opened basically. You can check out how prices have changed here and daydream about the days when you could pay ten bucks for admission.
Will this increase in park admission help Disney's profits or hurt them? Well, with a Star Wars land on the way, it's probably safe to say that we will continue to throw our money at Disney, park admission, souvenir cups, mouse ears and all for the foreseeable future.
