Ultimatewill come with a Nintendo Switch-compatible GameCube controller. No word yet on pricing, but it will be launching on Dec. 7, the same day as the game comes out.

The news came right after the most recent Nintendo Direct video about Smash Ultimate, in which Nintendo revealed new characters, stages, items, and more coming to the fifth Super Smash Bros.game.
The Nintendo Switch first added support for GameCube controllers back in October so players with the Wii U's GameCube controller adaptor could use their preferred method on Switch. It wasn't until Super Smash Bros. Ultimatewas revealed that Nintendo shared it would be offering GameCube controllers once again.
The Smash Ultimateversion of the GameCube controller is $30 by itself, and it costs and extra $20 to get the adapter that allows for up to four GameCube controllers to be used with the Switch at once.
We don't know how much this limited edition of Smash Ultimatewill be, but if it's less than $110, it's a deal.
