"Before Josh and I were able to make money playing music, I called him up and I said, 'Hey Josh, do you wanna come over to my rental house and watch the Grammys?'" said lead vocalist Tyler Josheph, who watched the Grammys with his roommates and bandmate Josh Dun. "And as we were watching we realized that every one of us was in our underwear...Josh turned to me and he said 'If we ever go to the Grammys, if we ever win a Grammy, we should receive it like this."
"By no coincidence, I always told myself that if I ever hosted the Grammys, I would also do it in my underwear," host James Corden quipped in a pants-less introduction for Ed Sheeran following Twenty One Pilots' win.
