Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen has died at age 82. The artist, writer and poet's death was confirmed on his Facebook page Thursday night, and since then tributes have been pouring in.

Fans have gathered on social media to honour the legendary musician and share their favourite quotes from his lyrics.

After his official Facebook page told followers, "It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away," fans including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and k.d lang, among many others, have taken to tweeting their most-loved passages from Cohen’s catalogue.
