Twitter announced early Tuesday morning that,erotice torture cartoon at long last, users will be able to search their direct messages. Well, at least someusers, anyway. That's because the latest feature isn't available to everyone.

"Get your search on," wrote the company. "DM search is rolling out to everyone on iOS today."

Back in August, Twitter released a video showing what the new functionality might look like. Notably, that version allows you to search for "people and groups," but apparently not the content of DMs.

It's unclear if today's update also allows for searching the textof direct messages. At the time of this writing, this author (who has the latest version of Twitter on iOS) is only able to search for people and groups.

But hey, it's a start. Now, we just need to wait another 13 years or so and we'll finally be able to search DM content as well.
