Founded in 2006, Haodf.com has 280,000 verified doctors on its platform, according to company data. Ant Group, through its Alipay platform, has been expanding its healthcare services since launching China’s first online appointment and payment service in 2014. Rumors of the acquisition began circulating in August 2024, sparking industry attention. Following the reports, Haodf.com’s consultation services were integrated into Alipay’s healthcare channel, and the company’s corporate registration was updated to reflect the new ownership.
